Whether you are 'just looking' or are after a spiritual home away from home, you can be sure of a warm welcome at Union Hall.

In fact, many of us came to the church during our student years (during the last millennium in some cases!) and have planted our roots here.

And, if you want to roll out of bed and in to church then you can’t get much better than 6 minutes’ walk from St Peter’s Chaplaincy/Precinct Centre. Union Hall is only a stone’s throw from MMU, MBS, RNCM and Manchester University.

We believe that being part of a sound and active church is vital for the spiritual growth of any student, especially while studying away from home, and we aim to support you spiritually and practically during your time in Manchester.

You can be assured of regular, faithful Bible-based teaching (check out our online sermons). Our services include a variety of modern and traditional songs and hymns, so there’s usually something to suit everyone.

Union Hall also seeks to help our students in a number of other ways including:

• hosting student lunches
• giving lifts
• praying for particular needs eg at exam time
• providing summer storage space
• encouraging students to share their gifts with the church as their timetables allow (e.g. playing instruments, maintaining the website, teaching in Sunday school)
• any other ways you can think of (…within reason…!)
